for energy conservation that have not just resulted in improving the energy efficiency and but has
also helped in savings consumption of power cost of production.

measures that we have performed are:
Use of agro based fuel like rice, husk etc.
Synchronisation of Steam Turbine Power and DG Plants to facilitate shifting of part/ full electrical load
against each other in case of any emergency thus avoiding power failure. Installation of cooling water
recovery system where we collect water from machines and reuse it for process requirement.
Effective use of energy saving lightning arrangement on shop floor and roads within factory premises.
Optimum use of compressors during shut down during lean periods of operations. Monitoring of high energy consuming equipments for better control. Checking and monitoring of electrical load on all motors and repair of the defective ones. Installation of power factor controllers/ capacitors to conserve energy.
Inspection and immediate rectification of air leakage in weaving, knitting & preparatory Installation of centralisedcooling tower for saving energy of C.T. Fans & C.T. Pumps 12 MW power plant has also been set up at Malwan for reliable captive supply and reducing cost. Monitoring and increasing scale and scope of measures taken in the past.

planning to implement the fuel conversion process from Furnace Oil, HSD to Agro based fuel which will
not only help in reducing reduce the cost of fuel consumption for producing power/ steam/ oil heating etc. but
can also reduce emission of environment friendly gases.
